Popularly known as Dalhousie Square, administrative district BBD Bagh has old-world charm. Grand, colonial-era landmarks include the Governor Palace, Calcutta High Court, St. John's Church, GPO, Town Hall, the Writers’ Building, and iconic Eden Gardens, one of the world’s largest cricket grounds.

2St. John's Church
St. John’s Church is one of the oldest churches in the city and was built during the days when Kolkata used to be the British capital. This church was the Anglican cathedral from 1815 till 1847 when St. Paul’s Cathedral got that designation. (CLOSED ON SUNDAYS)

5College Street (Boi Para)
College Street, also known as “Boi-Para” (Colony of Books), is a prominent center of Kolkata’s literary crowd. It is the largest second-hand book market in the world and largest book market in India. People from Kolkata and different parts of India gathers here for their books. The street is also dotted with countless very small book kiosks which sell new and old books. Closed on Sunday!

7Victoria Memorial Hall
One of Kolkata's most famous landmarks, this magnificent marble building is a tribute to Queen Victoria. The full-day tour allows you to not only admire its grand exterior and stroll through the gardens but also to potentially visit the museum inside, which houses a vast collection of British-Indian art and artifacts. (Note: The museum is closed on Mondays.)
