What to expect

Experience the beauty and wild side of Alaska on this unforgettable evening adventure. Spend a night away from Fairbanks and enjoy a home-cooked dinner before watching for the famous Northern Lights.

The Aurora Borealis is one of the world’s most breathtaking natural phenomena. During Alaska’s long winter nights, vibrant colors shimmer and dance across the sky in an unforgettable display.

Your cozy yurt is located just outside Fairbanks, far enough from the city lights to provide excellent Aurora viewing opportunities.

Stay warm with a late dinner of salmon — or vegetarian pesto pasta upon request — and lively conversation while waiting for the Aurora to appear. Large north-facing windows offer excellent views from the comfort of the cabin.

If you choose to step outside for photographs or a full view of the sky, be sure to dress warmly in layers.
