Trieste Self Guided Experience and Exploration Game

1 hour 30 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: English

This is a city exploration game with a twist: every challenge is a creative rhyming riddle, written to tease your brain and wake up your detective skills while the city hides the answers in plain sight. It works like a challenge, not a lecture: no guide, no fixed schedule, no group to keep up with. You open the app and take on the city whenever you feel like it, pause for an espresso whenever you want, and resume even on another day.

We offer 24/7 customer support and built-in hints to guarantee that you never stay stuck. Every solved riddle also rewards you with the story behind the place, so you leave understanding Trieste, not just having seen it.

It has intermediate difficulty and it's perfect for solo adventurers, couples, friends, families with older kids, or team-building events.

What to expect

Take on a challenge and explore the charming Trieste through a self-guided Experience through the most memorable corners of Italy's great port city, from Habsburg palaces to Roman relics. You will start at the Church of Sant'Antonio Nuovo, mirrored in the water at the head of the Canal Grande, and the trail leads you past the James Joyce statue on the canal, the grand Palazzo Carciotti on the seafront, the Molo Audace pier stretching into the Adriatic, Piazza Unita d'Italia (Europe's largest sea-facing square), the ancient Roman Theatre, the Arco di Riccardo and the cafe-lined Piazza Cavana, finishing at Piazza della Borsa in the heart of town. At each stop, a creative rhyming riddle points you to details in your surroundings: solve it to unlock the next chapter and the story behind the place.

You can play alone or bring your whole group, any day and any hour: just book a ticket and start whenever you want. The walk takes about 90-120 minutes with optional coffee breaks, over roughly 2.5 km (1.5 miles), and it ends a short stroll from where it started.
