The Lost Map of Sibiu Self Guided Experience and Exploration Game

1 hour 30 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: English

This is a self-guided treasure hunt with a fantasy twist: guided by a mysterious old map, you move through six "dimensions" of Sibiu, where time bends, streets overlap and the city hides a treasure lost for centuries. The puzzles blend history, legends and local secrets, so every solved clue leaves you knowing something real about the town behind the fiction. There is no guide and no fixed schedule: you set the pace, pause for a coffee on a medieval square whenever you like, and resume whenever you want (even on another day).

We offer 24/7 customer support and built-in hints to guarantee that you never stay stuck.

It has easy difficulty and it's perfect for solo adventurers, couples, friends, families with older kids, or team-building events.

What to expect

Hunt for a treasure lost for centuries in one of Transylvania's most beautiful medieval towns. In this self-guided walking game, an old enchanted map splits Sibiu into six hidden "dimensions", and you shift between them as you climb from the Lower Town to the Upper Town. You will start on Strada Faurului, with the old city rising above you, then cross the famous Bridge of Lies, pass the Council Tower, Piata Mare (the Big Square), Huet Square, the journeymen's house Casa Calfelor, the Passage of Stairs and the medieval towers of Citadel Park. At each stop you will solve riddles, word puzzles and challenges using the details hidden around you, and every solved clue reveals a story from Sibiu's history and its legends. You can play alone or bring your whole group, any day and any hour: just book a ticket and start whenever you want. The walk takes about 90-120 minutes with optional breaks, and it finishes on Piata Mare, right in the heart of the city.
