Sichuan Cuisine is boasting the largest style of Cuisine in China. Chuançais Museum is a museum which aims at inheriting and developing Sichuan Cuisine. In today’s tour, China Explorition will take you to explore the most traditional flavor of Sichuan Cuisine. In Chuancai Museum, you could see lots of cooking tools and various agricultural tools from thousand years ago, meanwhile, you will try to cook some Sichuan style dishes with the teaching of a professional chef.

    Sichuan Cuisine Museum

    At 8:00 AM or 1:00 PM, your driver will pick you up from your Chengdu hotel for a half-day culinary adventure. The tour includes four highlights: Museum Tour: Explore the exhibition hall to learn about the history of Sichuan cuisine and view antique artifacts. Snack Tasting: Visit the Pixian Bean Paste garden and taste traditional snacks like Spicy Bean Noodles and Tofu Jelly. Cultural Experience: Watch the fermentation process of the famous Pixian Bean Paste and visit the Temple of the Kitchen God to pray for blessings. Cooking Class: The highlight! A professional chef will teach you how to cook authentic Sichuan dishes. You will prepare your own lunch/dinner, enjoy the meal, and receive a cooking certificate as a souvenir before returning to your hotel.
