The medieval town of Óbidos is one of the most picturesque and well preserved in Portugal. Close to the capital and located on high ground near the Atlantic coast, Óbidos has had a strategic importance in the territory. It had already been settled prior to the Romans’ arrival in the Iberian Peninsula, and the town prospered after being chosen by the royal family. King Dinis offered it to his wife, Queen Isabel, in the 13th century, and it became part of House of Queens’ Estate, who improved and enriched it throughout the various dynasties. This is one of the main reasons for the high concentration of churches in this small place. You will find a well preserved castle within the walls, and a maze of streets and white houses that are a delight to stroll amongst. Along with the Manueline porticoes, the colourful window boxes and the small squares, many fine examples of religious and civil architecture from the town’s golden days provide a host of reasons for making a visit.

Fátima is a Portuguese city known worldwide as one of the main centers of Christian pilgrimage and Marian devotion. The city gained global notoriety due to the apparitions of Our Lady to the three shepherd children — Lúcia, Francisco, and Jacinta — which occurred between May and October 1917 in Cova da Iria.
Coimbra is a historic riverside city in Central Portugal, famous for having been the country's former capital (between 1131 and 1255) and for being home to the University of Coimbra, one of the oldest in Europe still in operation, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Menu publisher. Bathed by the Mondego River, the "City of Students" combines centuries-old academic traditions with a young and vibrant atmosphere.
Known as the "Portuguese Venice," Aveiro is a charming city on the west coast of Portugal's Central Region, famous for its urban canals, unique architecture, and strong connection to the Ria de Aveiro lagoon.
