Starting at Market Square outside the City Hall — its distinctive pink baroque facade concealing an original Gothic structure. Along the way, visit the Abbey of the Holy Cross, explore the only surviving Gothic facade on Kröpeliner Strasse, and discover the University of Rostock, Germany's fourth oldest. The tour ends at St. Mary's Church and its remarkable astronomical clock — the only one of its kind still in operation.
