Starting in Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo with a coffee at Rosa Salva — where the bean first arrived in Venice over 400 years ago — you'll cross several prominent squares and the Rialto Bridge, hearing how Venice once served as the market for the world. Along the way, sample prosecco, fritto misto, and traditional cicchetti, discover the secret behind a good Venetian risotto, and choose from four variations of Spritz, the wine-based cocktail first developed here.
The tour ends at Osteria Ai Pugni, where a final spread of traditional snacks and local wine awaits.
