One of the biggest things that makes a banana boat ride unique is the group dynamic.
At Atlantic Watersports, safety and fun go hand in hand. Professional captains and experienced staff guide riders through the experience while ensuring all safety equipment is properly fitted and every guest feels comfortable before heading out on the water.

We are located behind the Lighthouse Cove Resort, directly on the beach.
What to expect
Please show up 15 minutes prior to your scheduled launch time. After greeted by our staff will ask for proof of your booking. We will then assist you in the process of signing a waiver form. After the paperwork is complete, a trained staff member will fit you for the appropriate life vest. After all safety equipment is on, we will give a 10 minute tutorial on safety guidelines, rules, and expectations.
What do you wear to a banana boat ride?
You just need to wear a life jacket to ensure safety. The life jacket will be provided by the banana boat provider.
What do you do on a banana boat?
Banana boating involves riding on bumpy waves and being bounced around a bit on the inflatable banana or water sled, so wearing a life jacket is an absolute must
How fast can I expect to go?
Most banana boats are rated for top speeds of around 15 miles per hour, but it doesn't take a lot of speed to really get your adrenaline pumping. This speed also makes them the perfect choice for families, as they're safe for children to ride.
Is a banana boat safe for children?
Although falling from the Banana Boat is rare, it can happen. You will be wearing a life jacket and a helmet so you will float and have protection. Please do not try and throw people off of the banana boat.
