The buildings have been designated important folk relics because these castles and homes that were built to prevent a Japanese invasion have remained intact the Joseon Dynasty.
"Seopji" is the old name for the area, and "Koji" is Jeju dialect meaning a sudden bump on land. It is also famous for being used as a filming location for the Korean drama Welcome to Samdalli.

Watch Jeju’s legendary female divers without gear as they’ve done for generations. If canceled due to weather/sea conditions: Visit to Haenyeo Museum.(Except on Mondays.) This place is for picture tours only. No hiking. Hiking is not included. Watch a women divers' show.(1400pm).Women divers' show is subject to cancellation depending on the weather.

Drop-off Only Due to the reopening of Manjanggul and time constraints, this beach is a drop-off point only. Guests may end their tour here, but cannot rejoin the tour or re-board the vehicle afterward.
