This 2-day Beijing tour covers exactly 10 classic must-see attractions. Two packages are available with the same sightseeing itinerary but different transportation and services for your option.
Package 1: Small Group Tour
Day 1: Pickup by 7-seat vehicle. Visit Mutianyu Great Wall, followed by a 2-hour tour of the Forbidden City(Max 20). No hotel drop-off service.
Day 2: Meet your guide at Temple of Heaven East Gate. Use metro to visit: Summer Palace, exterior of Bell Tower and Drum Tower, and stroll through authentic old Beijing Hutongs and Houhai Lake.
Package 2: Private Tour
Day 1: Mutianyu Great Wall-Forbidden City-exterior visit to Bird’s Nest & Water Cube.
Day 2: Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, exterior view of Bell Tower & Drum Tower, Hutongs and Houhai Lake.

    Start your Beijing adventure with the legendary Mutianyu Great Wall. Your guide will share historical facts and stories about the Great Wall during the transfer. Once you arrive, your guide will walk with you onto the wall and explain its fascinating history, construction and ancient defense stories. After the guided segment, you will have free time to wander, take photos and explore the wall at your own pace. Optional extras at Mutianyu: cable car and toboggan (ski lift slide) are available for purchase at your own expense. These are not included in the tour price.

    Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

    Later, we return to downtown Beijing. Meet your guide at the Meridian Gate for a **2-hour guided Forbidden City tour starting at 2:00 PM**. The Forbidden City was the imperial palace for China’s Ming and Qing emperors. On this guided walk, you will see grand ceremonial halls, peaceful imperial courtyards, ornate wooden architecture and precious relics. Your guide will tell tales of emperors, empresses and palace life. Please note that the guided tour concludes inside the Forbidden City, with **no hotel drop-off service provided**. You are welcome to stay behind after the guided session to explore additional exhibitions and palace areas independently. For private tour bookings, enjoy an exclusive English-speaking guide, private driver and full hotel pickup & drop-off for the whole day’s itinerary.

    If you wish to visit Tiananmen Square, we can make the reservation for you in advance. You may visit the square on your own after the small-group Forbidden City tour. Private tours are flexible. We can set aside time on either of the two days for you to visit Tiananmen Square, and we will complete the reservation beforehand.

    First, visit the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where ancient emperors held ceremonies to pray for good harvests. Your guide will explain the symbolic design of the temple buildings and the ancient rituals performed here.
