The location is a short walk from the historic Ben Youssef Madrasa and not far from the main souks and the central square. La Maison des Babouches, a well-known leather goods store located in the heart of the Souks.

You will begin by meeting the artisans in their traditional workshop, where they will warmly welcome you and take time to understand your preferences, style, and expectations. Based on this, they will offer personalised suggestions and guidance to help you choose or design your ideal leather items.
You will then witness authentic Moroccan craftsmanship in action as the artisans demonstrate traditional techniques. You’ll see how handmade slippers are cut, shaped, and assembled, as well as how leather poufs are crafted step by step using time-honoured methods.
Throughout the visit, you will learn about the materials used, the natural leather preparation process, and the detailed hand-finishing techniques that give each piece its unique character. The artisans will explain each stage clearly, making the experience both educational and engaging.
