What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We’ll pick you up in the morning from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi or meet you upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport. At the airport, our driver will be waiting with a sign displaying your name. Karibu Tanzania!
What to expect
Your journey starts early with scenic pickup before driving to Londorossi Gate. Entering the high-altitude Shira Caldera—an ancient volcanic crater—you'll hike open alpine trails while your local guide shares insights on Kilimanjaro's geology, unique flora like giant lobelias, and Chagga culture.
The highlight is Cathedral Point, offering panoramic views of Kibo Peak's glaciers and the plains below, where we pause for a picnic lunch. After taking in the views, we descend pole pole (slowly and comfortably) back to the trailhead, returning you smoothly by evening.

- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Kilimanjaro National Park park fees are not included and must be paid directly at the park gate
- Guests must bring their passport and Credit card for park registration
- Please inform us in advance if you prefer regular, vegetarian, or gluten-free lunch options.
- Warm clothing and proper hiking shoes are highly recommended
