2Delphi
Delphi, one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece, was considered the center of the ancient world. It was home to the famous Oracle of Apollo, where the Pythia, a high priestess, delivered cryptic prophecies believed to be inspired by the god. The site also hosted the Pythian Games (PTN), a major athletic and musical competition held every four years, second in importance only to the Olympic Games. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes, Delphi remains a place of historical and spiritual significance.
