4Mycenae
The second major stop of this tour to check our the Cyclopean walls that once encircled the main citadel of the first people who ruled most of Greece, the Mycenaeans. 6Nafplio
The last major stop of the tour to visit beautiful Nafplion. This is the first capital of the new independent state of Greece (1824). It is a place than looks like time stopped in 1850 and a fascinating weekend destination for Athenians. You’ll be free to explore the old walkways worry free as cars are not allowed inside, check traditional shops, have lunch or hop on a small boat that will take you to the little castle (Bourtzi) in the middle of the sea and around seaside Nafplion.

7The Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus
Last Major stop of the tour to visit one of the oldest theaters of the world which is still used by the best theatrical tragedies. Here you can check the acoustics of the theatre, perform for the visitors, visit the museum and explore the archaeological site of Asclepeus (medicine god) healing sanctuary.
