Escape the crowds and discover the real Dalmatia on a shared sailing tour from Zadar. Aboard one of our modern yachts — Sun Odyssey, Salona, or Dufour — we sail towards Ugljan, dropping anchor between the island and tiny Galovac islet for swimming, snorkelling, and paddleboarding. We stop in Kali, an authentic fishing village, for fresh grilled sardines, tuna, and squid at a traditional konoba. A second swim stop at Ošljak islet follows before we glide past Zadar's world-famous Sea Organ on our return. Cold beer, soft drinks, water, SUP boards, and snorkelling equipment all included.
This is not just a boat trip. This is Zadar at its very best.
Marina Zadar,gat 2
Step 2 – Setting Sail to Ugljan Island *We cast off from the marina and head towards the beautiful island of Ugljan. If the wind is in our favour, we'll raise the sails and enjoy a true sailing experience across the crystal-clear Adriatic — there's nothing quite like the feeling of gliding silently through the water under full canvas.* *Once we reach our anchorage between Ugljan and the tiny islet of Galovac, we drop anchor in a sheltered spot and the sea is all yours. Jump in for a swim, snorkel among the rocks, paddleboard across the calm bay, or swim across to the islet of Galovac and take a stroll along its peaceful shores.*
Step 1 – Meeting Point & Boarding Your adventure begins at Marina Tankerkomerc, Zadar's most central marina nestled alongside the historic old town. Make your way to our berth on the dock — you can find us easily by searching "Sailing Zadar" on Google Maps. Our crew will be there to welcome you, ensure you're comfortably on board, and prepare you for departure.
**Step 3 – A Taste of Authentic Dalmatia in Kali** *From our anchorage, we sail on to Kali — a charming traditional fishing village on the island of Ugljan, one of the most authentic and unspoiled corners of the Dalmatian coast. Help yourself to a cold beer, a refreshing juice, or chilled water from on board as we make our way in — complimentary drinks are always within reach throughout the trip.* *Once ashore, we stop at a local konoba where you'll have the chance to savour the freshest catch of the day: grilled sardines, tuna, squid, and other Adriatic delicacies prepared using age-old local recipes passed down through generations.* *This is the kind of meal you simply cannot find in a tourist restaurant — honest, unpretentious, and utterly unforgettable. Lunch at the konoba is not included in the tour price and is paid directly on site.
Step 4 – Swimming Stop at Ošljak Islet After lunch, we make our way to the tiny islet of Ošljak — a peaceful and pristine spot in the heart of the Zadar archipelago. We drop anchor once more and the sea is yours again. Take a refreshing dip, snorkel in the crystal-clear waters, or simply relax on deck and soak up the Adriatic sun.
**Step 5 – The Sea Organ** *As we approach the city, we glide past Zadar's world-famous Sea Organ — a unique architectural masterpiece built into the marble steps of the waterfront, where the rhythm of the Adriatic waves creates an ever-changing, hauntingly beautiful melody. There is nothing quite like hearing it from the water.*
**Step 6 – Return to Marina Tankerkomerc** We make our final approach back to Marina Tankerkomerc, where your unforgettable half-day Adriatic adventure comes to an end. We hope to see you on the water again soon!
