You will be picked up between 5:45 am and 6:30 am.
The tour begins early in the morning with pickup from your accommodation in Puerto Natales between 5:45 AM and 6:20 AM. Traveling in a comfortable shared or private vehicle, depending on the option selected, you will journey toward the Chile–Argentina border, passing through the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia along the way. After completing immigration procedures at the Chile–Argentina border crossings, you will continue your journey into Argentina. Along the way, there will be a brief stop to use the restrooms and purchase food or beverages before continuing to El Calafate, where the bilingual guide who will accompany you throughout the excursion will join the group.
From El Calafate, the journey continues to Los Glaciares National Park, one of Argentina’s most iconic natural treasures. During the drive, your guide will provide fascinating insights into the region’s history, geology, and wildlife, setting the stage for the day’s unforgettable highlight.
Once at the glacier, you will have approximately two hours of free time to explore the panoramic walkways and enjoy breathtaking views of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Listen to the ice cracking and, if you're lucky, witness a spectacular calving event. For an even closer experience, you may choose to add an optional boat navigation in front of the glacier’s northern face, offering unique views from the water. After the visit, you will return via El Calafate and continue to Puerto Natales, arriving at approximately 10:00 PM.
