Our tour guide will meet and assist you at Luxor railway station to be transferred by A/C van to M/S Movenpick Nile Cruise 5 stars Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Return back to the Cruise by noon to have your lunch. Start sailing down the River Nile, afternoon tea on the sundeck. Cross Esna Lock. Overnight in Edfu.

After your breakfast, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete&the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Back to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Kom Ombo. Have lunch on board, afternoon tea on the sundeck.

The Aswan Dam, or more specifically since the 1960s, the Aswan High Dam, is an embankment dam built across the Nile in Aswan, Egypt, between 1960 and 1970. Its significance largely eclipsed the previous Aswan Low Dam initially completed in 1902 downstream.

Aswan, a city on the Nile River, has been southern Egypt’s strategic and commercial gateway since antiquity. It contains significant archaeological sites like the Philae temple complex, on Agilkia Island near the landmark Aswan Dam. Philae’s ruins include the columned Temple of Isis, dating to the 4th century B.C. Downriver, Elephantine Island holds the Temple of Khnum, from the Third Dynasty.
