Live this unique experience swimming beside a Whale shark an immense animal in the underwater world of the Caribbean Sea. The whale shark is an amazing animal whose main food is the placton, the largest fish in the world, and it is believed that these animals have lived on earth for more than 60 million years.
Amaze yourself by feeling a great and incredible sensation of swimming near them and admiring these beautiful animals. This is a life experience that you must live at least once in your life, imagine having a picture of yourself with the whale shark swimming side by side, what an incredible memory.
Finally, after the Whale Shark view, we will sail to Isla Mujeres. Here you can visit the beautiful beaches of Isla Mujeres, we will take you to the famous beach called Playa Norte which is known worldwide for its incredible and amazing beauty.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Please arrive between 8:15 to 8:30 am for check in. The exact meeting location and directions will be provided once your reservation is confirmed. We do not have departures on the 31st of each month due to Whale Shark Conservation Day.
What to expect
The first stop is Ixlaché Reef, where a guided snorkeling experience takes place in clear Caribbean waters. During this activity, there is also a chance to observe whale sharks in their natural environment (seasonal and subject to natural conditions).
The journey then continues to Isla Contoy, a protected national park. Upon arrival, guests complete a registration process and receive information regarding the conservation rules. A certified guide will accompany the group on a walking tour through the island, including the bird sanctuary, observation tower, and museum.
Lunch is served in a traditional palapa setting, featuring local cuisine prepared by the crew, followed by free time to relax on the beach.
In the afternoon, the experience continues to Isla Mujeres, where guests enjoy free time for exploration and shopping before returning to Marina Punta Sam.
