The whale shark is completely harmless, its main source of food is plankton, so it does not represent a danger to our travelers, not leaving aside the great and incredible feeling of swimming near them and admire these beautiful animals.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Please arrive between 7:00 to 7:15 am for check in. The exact meeting location and directions will be provided once your reservation is confirmed. We do not have departures on the 31st of each month due to Whale Shark Conservation Day.
What to expect
As you cruise toward the whale shark feeding grounds, your certified guide will search for these gentle giants in their natural environment. Since whale sharks are wild animals, sightings cannot be guaranteed and are always subject to weather conditions and wildlife activity.
To protect the species, strict conservation regulations are followed throughout the experience. If fewer than 5 whale sharks are found in the area, guests will enjoy whale shark sightseeing from the boat. If 5 or more whale sharks are present and conditions are suitable, participants will enter the water in pairs with a certified guide. Each pair takes turns in the water, allowing everyone the opportunity to swim with the whale sharks. Depending on environmental conditions may have up to 3 swimming opportunities.
Because whale sharks can swim at speeds of approximately 5 km/h (3 mph), all participants should be confident swimmers and comfortable in open water.
