What to expect
The activity are not just about surfing; this will take you to the best surf breaks, chosen daily based on swell conditions, to ensure the perfect waves for your skill level.
Before you even touch the water, your instructor will have you practice on the sand. This is where you learn the "Pop-up"—the explosive movement of transitioning from lying flat on your stomach to standing on your feet.
Next, the majority of surfing is actually paddling. You’ll head out to the "lineup" (the area where waves break).
Most of your session will involve falling. You’ll get "tumbled" in the whitewater, which can be disorienting but is usually harmless in beginner-friendly sandy-bottom breaks.
This Surfing tour is more leisurely, and we take our time. The first session will be for 1 hour, and then followed by a snack break. Little chit chat here and there, and then we do it for another hour.
