Legend says Amarone was born by accident from a forgotten barrel of Recioto wine. As fermentation continued naturally, the winemaker discovered a dry red wine with extraordinary richness, elegance, and aroma — Amarone was born.
During this private experience, you will discover the world of Amarone in the heart of Valpolicella, one of Italy’s most prestigious wine regions.
Learn about the native grape varieties — Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara — and the unique production process that makes Amarone so special. After the harvest, the carefully selected grapes are left to dry naturally for up to 100 days, concentrating their flavors and creating the wine’s famous depth and character.
Travel along the beautiful Valpolicella Wine Route, often described as an open-air wine museum, surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, historic villas, and charming villages.
This is more than a wine tour — it is a journey into the history, traditions, and soul of Amarone.
