As the sun sets over Porto, its cobbled lanes take on a softer glow, and that is exactly when this evening walk begins. Starting at the tiled facade of a historic city-center church, you'll will wander through some of Porto's most atmospheric corners, pausing at family-run taverns where the same people have cooked for generations, and past Art Nouveau balconies catching the day's last light.
Over 3.5 unhurried hours, you'll settle into cozy, decades-old dining rooms for hearty regional dishes and glasses of local wine and beer, with pauses along Porto's grand avenues, quiet courtyards, and the city's liveliest after-dark district.
Kept to a small group of no more than 12, this evening is built for lingering rather than rushing, for conversation between courses, and for a side of Porto most visitors only imagine. Your guide shares the stories behind every stop, and dietary needs can always be accommodated with advance notice.
