8: 00 Am – Meet you from your location Hotel or Airport. First, we travel to Andasibe village that found at 4 hrs drive to the east of Tana fallowing the national road N°2. On the route, we can stop at Madagascar Exotic park, which is a privately run reserve at Marozevo and is situated between the towns of Manjakandriana and Moramanga. This happens to be a very popular tourist spot, so make your day memorable! Catch sights of different reptiles, butterflies, moths, and insects and more here.
After dinner, head out for a guided night walk organized by the VOIMMA Community. Explore the forest after dark and look for nocturnal wildlife such as mouse lemurs, chameleons, frogs, geckos, and various insects. Start the day with a guided visit to Analamazaotra National Park, one of the best places in Madagascar to encounter the famous Indri, the island’s largest lemur. Walk through the lush rainforest and look for Indri, brown lemurs, birds, reptiles, and other endemic species while enjoying the rich biodiversity of the park.
After the morning visit, drive to Manambato, the starting point for the boat transfer along the Pangalanes Canal. From Manambato, board a motorboat and travel through Lake Rasoabe and the scenic waterways toward Palmarium Reserve. Enjoy the peaceful landscapes along the way before arriving at the reserve, where you will check in and have time to relax in this remote rainforest setting.
Spend the day exploring Palmarium Reserve, a private nature reserve located on the shores of the Pangalanes Canal. Take a guided walk through the lush forest to observe several species of lemurs, including the famous Indri and other endemic wildlife. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and discover the unique flora of Madagascar’s eastern rainforest.
After dinner, set out for a guided night exploration around the reserve. Walk through the forest after dark in search of nocturnal wildlife, including mouse lemurs, chameleons, frogs, geckos, and other fascinating species. Experience the rainforest in a completely different atmosphere before returning to the lodge for the night.
After breakfast, take a motorboat from Palmarium Reserve back to Manambato, traveling along the scenic Pangalanes Canal and Lake Rasoabe. Enjoy the peaceful waterways and surrounding landscapes during the journey.
Upon arrival in Manambato, continue the journey by road toward Antananarivo via the RN2. Travel through the eastern countryside and highlands, passing local villages and scenic landscapes before arriving in the capital, marking the end of your 4-day tour.
