8am Meet and greet at your Singapore hotel and immigration clearance at Johore Bahru. Proceed to Malacca - a melting pot of history. Portuguese and Dutch influence until the British arrived. Visit Stadthuys (the Dutch square) , St Paul's Hill and the A Famosa - the remaining gateway of the Portuguese Fort. Trishaw to Jonkers' Street of souvenirs and antiquities. A walkabout. 15th century Chinese and Indian Migrants having a swell time marrying into the locals. The Portuguese soldiers also married into the locals and a Portuguese settlement has been created. Malacca is a concoction of cultures and traditions. Check in to hotel. Free and easy. After Peranakan local lunch go for the River Cruise. Check in to hotel Free and easy. You may revisit Jonkers' Street in the evening.
Kuala Lumpur is a potpouri of diverse cultures and traditions - Malays, Chinese and Indians living in harmony. 8am Depart for Kuala Lumpur and visit the iconic Batu Caves and climb 272 steps in to the temple of Hindu Deity honored during Hindu festivals every year. Devotees give thanks for vows fulfilled. Ladies to cover knees and shoulders. Visit the heritage sites of Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the oldest Jamek Mosque and St Mary's Cathedral. Go for an educational tour of Batik, then drive past the Old Railway Station and the National Mosque. Walkabout of bustling Chinatown and colorful Little India. Drive past the tallest twin towers and the KL Tower for some photo shoots. Complimentary Banana Leaf lunch before drop off at hotel.
8am Depart for the Cameron Highlands- a hill resort with vast tea plantations and farmlands. Enroute bonus stop at Waterfalls and Hotspring for a soak at hotspring pools for a detox treatment. Continue on to Camerons and Sip tea perched on an elevated tea cafe and watch the undulating tea hills roll by. Go down onto the tea plantation and have photo shoots. Then visit the vegetable market of fresh fruits, flowers and vegetables grown in the Camerons. Visit Cactus Garden and the Strawberry farm and pick fresh strawberries. Some farmers are into organic farming catering for the niche market. Check in to hotel. Free and easy. Evening dinner the HOT POT - an authentic local cuisine. Bring sweaters as the nights are cold.
Taman Negara - 1st Day 7am Depart for Taman Negara a 130 million years old tropical rainforest - home to endangered animals as in Tigers, Elephants, Tapirs, Pythons, Deer, and clusters of aborigine villages.....14,000 flowering plants, 300 bird species.... On arrival at Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara complimentary local lunch at Floating Cafe. Join Nature Guide on a boat to reach an aborigine village for fire making and blowpipe demonstration the native way. He then takes you trekking to a rainforest waterfalls for a cool dip - a therapeutic syress reliever. Check in to hotel. Free and easy. 8pm Join Nature Guide for the Night Jungle walk to look for mouse deer, snakes, scorpions, spiders.... and watch nocturnal animals come for their salt lick. Enjoy the night ambience in a virgin rainforest. Return to hotel .Good Night.
Taman Negara - 2nd Day 8am Join Nature Guide to trek to the viewpoint to catch a glimpse of Gunung Tahan - Malaysia's tallest mountain. The aborigines are naive people and the rainforest is their supermarket. Return to hotel. Free and easy. 8pm Join Nature Guide for the Night River Cruise. You may be lucky if you sight black panthers, mouse deer, wild boar etc. They come for water intake. But if you see a tiger, we ain't quite sure who is gonna be lucky !!!
6am Depart for Kuala Besut Jetty - the gateway to the Perhentian/Redang Islands - a long distance journey. Our Guide will identify your boat to these islands and ensure all is well before departing.
