Best time to visit the Paradise Islands of Perhentian/Redang/Lang Tengah on the East Coast of Malaysia - February to September every year. Sunny skies, calm seas, crystal clear waters, fine sandy beaches, swaying palm trees, breathtaking marine life, scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking and chilling on the beach.
The journey from Kuala Lumpur to Paradise Islands is tiresomely long, hence we did a short stopover @ Taman Negara. Also to experience a rainforest ambience with endangered Tigers, Tapirs, Elephants... 14000 flowering plants, 300 bird species and aborigines. Highlights

What to expect
7am Depart for Taman Negara. Bonus stop iconic Batu Caves Climb 272 steps into temple of Hindu Deity. Ladies to cover their knees and shoulders.
Join Nature Guide by boat to aborigine village for a demonstration on fire making and blowpipe techniques. Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of Taman Negara as he leads to a rainforest waterfalls for a cool dip - a therapeutic stress reliever. Complimentary local lunch @ Floating Cafe. Check in to hotel. Free and easy.
8pm Join Nature Guide for Night Jungle walk to spot mouse deer, civet cats, slow loris and watch nocturnal animals come for their salt lick. Enjoy the night ambience in a virgin rainforest.
Day 02 Taman Negara 2nd day
8am Jungle trekking to the viewpoint. Guide will talk on poisonous and medicinal plants.
8pm Night River Cruise. Pray we sight black panther, mouse deer etc. Again enjoy the rainforest at night seated on a boat.
Day 03 Taman Negara - Besut Jetty drop off
6am Depart for Besut Jetty. Guide will assist to identify your boat. Please obtain phone contacts of boatman.
