    Depart from Marrakech and travel towards Essaouira, passing through the town of Sidi Mokhtar where we will make a first stop for a local morning refreshment. Continue through the Argan tree forests, where you may spot goats climbing the branches of the trees. Visit a local women’s Argan oil cooperative to learn about the traditional production process and discover its uses in cosmetics and natural treatments. Before exploring Essaouira on foot, enjoy a panoramic view of the city and its historic medina. Known as Mogador, Essaouira became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Spend time discovering the charming medina, its traditional souks, historic gates, Skala du Port, and the impressive city ramparts overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. End your visit by enjoying the city’s famous fresh seafood and relaxed coastal atmosphere.
