We’ll stop for a few minutes in front of the Colosseum to admire the majesty of this ancient monument and take some beautiful souvenir photos. Also, listen to your guide—they’ll surprise you with stories and anecdotes about the Roman Empire.

You will cycle to the Catacombs of Saint Callixtus and take a guided tour inside
After visiting the Catacombs, you’ll begin the most picturesque stretch of the Ancient Appian Way, passing by the Basilica of Saint Sebastian Outside the Walls,
for the Circus of Maxentius, which you’ll view from outside the fence, but that won’t stop you from seeing the beauty of its ruins
As we continue our ride on our e-bikes, we’ll stop in front of the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella, which we’ll view from the outside while the guide shares some historical anecdotes
Near Capo di Bove, we'll stop for lunch at the Appia Antica Caffé, famous for being the location of several movie scenes.
After refueling, we’ll cycle along the ancient Roman cobblestones of the Via Appia Antica, making sure to stay to the sides—especially those who are less experienced.

And finally, the Caffarella Park: as you cycle through this lush valley crossed by the Almone River, you’ll come across numerous archaeological remains, including tombs, villas, towers, and the Nymphaeum of Egeria. Then return to the starting point.
