From Zhangjiajie start to visit Fenghuang ancient town(1 of the most beautiful ancient towns in China) and Furong town(town hang on the waterfall),drop off to hotel in Fenghuang ancient town(not include boating ticket) or Furong town(not include 108 CNY each for ticket), or drive back to Zhangjiajie.We arrange guide and car,one day trip cover 2 famous towns.

Drive to arrive at Fenghuang Ancient Town.Been praised by the New Zealand famous writer Louis Alley as the most beautiful ancient town in China Fenghuang ancient town more close to the nature:green mountains around the town and the clear mother river Tuo River flow through the town.In 2001 Fenghuang was ranked national historical and cultural city,with beautiful scenery and long history(over 1300 years), the Miao nationality been lived here for thousands of years,there are lots of valuable and beautiful old buildings as the ancient tower,city gates and walls,the Rainbow Bridge and the Ming and Qing dynasty ancient courtyard style houses,old wooden stilted buildings by the river and Miao people with beautiful national dresses.Here also the birth place of famous peopl: one of the most famous chinese writers in the 20th century Shen congwen;The first prime minister of the republic of China Xiong Xiling;The famous traditional Chinese painting master Huang yongyu.

3Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture
Furong Town located by Youshui River,so in the old days Furong town was very busy business town. Original name as Wangcun Town, Furong Town gets the new name from the famous movie" Furong Town" which was filmed here in 1986,the famous movie director Xijin from Hongkong 2002 came back to Furong town again he said Furong town is the most beautiful Tujia nationality town. Tujia minority lived in Furong Town with thousands of years history.You can enjoy the stone street with lots of local shops in the old wooden stilted buildings,and many old houses in the town looks like ancient time style which the local Tujia people still lives in.For the nature,there is wonderful Mengdong River waterfall by the Youshui River,the town is hanging on the top of waterfall,even we can walk through the waterfall,tourists said it is the most beautiful waterfall in China!By the waterfall also have the river and dock view,and Tujia King summer palace stilted buildings just next to the waterfall."
