After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive towards Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro highlands and the Olduvai Gorge area, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world. Arrive in the Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive, exploring the vast plains that support large herds of plains game and top predators. Picnic lunch will be served en route. 2Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, when predators are most active. The Serengeti ecosystem covers approximately 14,763 sq. km and is renowned for its abundant wildlife and dramatic landscapes. 3Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half to full-day game drive. The crater floor is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, wildebeest, zebras, warthogs, and hyenas. With some luck, you may also encounter the rare black rhinoceros. Visit highlights such as Lake Magadi, Lerai Forest, and the Ngoitokitok Swamp. After lunch, ascend from the crater and return to Arusha. Drop-off will be at your hotel or directly at the airport for onward travel.
