What to expect
Blumenau Oktoberfest
Enjoy the experience of knowing Blumenau and experience the atmosphere of Oktoberfest, the traditional festival of German culture of St. Catherine. During the tour, you will know the main points of the city and the Germanic Villa complex, where the Oktoberfest takes place.
Itinerary
We will search you at your hotel in Florianópolis to continue towards Blumenau. The journey to the city is approximately two hours.
Upon arrival, we will take a tour of Blumenau, knowing its historic centre and some of the main points that preserve the influence of German culture in the city. Then we will head to the Villa Germânica Park, the complex where the Oktoberfest structure is located.
Days with parade — Wednesday and Saturday
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the tour includes the opportunity to follow the traditional Blumenau Oktoberfest parade. This is one of the highlights of the tour these days and will be the ideal time to get to know the culture, traditions and the joy of the party.
Attention to Saturday and Sunday tours
On Saturdays and Sundays, the tour takes place with return and return scheduled earlier. On these days, we will make a visit to the area of the PROEB/Villa Germânica pavilions, allowing the visitor to know the place and have contact with the structure where the Oktoberfest takes place.
It is important to note that the Saturday and Sunday tour does not correspond to a participation in the Oktoberfest during the night. At this earlier time, the evening programming of the party is not happening yet, so there will be no bands, concerts and other attractions of the Oktoberfest in operation.
There is no Oktoberfest parade on Sunday.
Thus, the experience varies depending on the day chosen: Wednesday and Saturday have the highlight of the parade, while Sunday has no parade. On Saturdays and Sundays, the tour is held during the day, with return earlier, and stay at the party during the evening program is not included.
