Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. Transfer to Politakis Olive Mill – 30 Minutes Travel by comfortable shuttle through the Cretan countryside to Politakis Olive Mill.

    Begin with a guided walk through the olive grove and learn about olive cultivation, harvesting, and the importance of olive trees in Cretan life. Continue inside the olive mill to discover how olives are processed and how high-quality extra virgin olive oil is produced. The experience concludes with a guided tasting of three exquisite qualities of olive oil. Learn how to recognise their aromas, flavours, texture, and distinctive characteristics.

    Spend approximately 90 minutes at Lyrarakis Winery, surrounded by the vineyards and peaceful countryside of Alagni. Depending on the experience you reserve directly with the winery, you can join a guided visit through the vineyards, cellar and vine museum before discovering wines produced from distinctive Cretan grape varieties. Choose a guided wine tasting and, if available, add local food pairings or a vineyard picnic. The shuttle price includes transportation only; winery tours, tastings and food must be booked and paid for separately directly with Lyrarakis Winery.
