We offer specially designed tours for cruise passengers arriving at the port of Salaverry, designed to provide comfort, security and a worry-free experience from the start.
We are the only authorized tour operator that enters the port directly, allowing us to receive our passengers right in front of their ship, on the same gangway (boarding bridge). This means they won’t have to leave the port, search for external transport or take additional buses.
Our service is designed for you to fully enjoy your time at your destination: simply wait comfortably inside the port and our NORTE EXPEDITION team will be waiting for you on time to start your tour with the logo of our NORTE EXPEDITION company.
At the end of the experience, we will take you directly back to your cruise ship at the agreed time, ensuring complete peace of mind and ensuring that there is no risk of missing boarding.

The time will depend on the arrival of the ship and is finished 1 : 30 hours before the departure of the port ship (captaincy order)
What to expect
Continue to the fascinating Rainbow Huaca (Dragon Huaca), a mud and adobe gem with more than 1,300 years of history, and then head to the majestic Chan Chan, the largest mud city in the world. Here you will walk through its ancient streets, avenues and ceremonial squares, discovering the greatness of the Chimu empire.
The tour ends in the traditional coastal town of Huanchaco, where the ancestral fishing techniques in totora horses are still preserved. Depending on the time available, you can enjoy a seafront lunch tasting delicious ceviches and local cuisine.
Important : The entire tour is possible from Tuesday to Sunday. If your cruise arrives on Monday the tour varies and we are only allowed to visit the huacas sun and moon, Trujillo square of arms , city of chan chan and beach of huanchaco
