Enjoy an unforgettable experience that combines nature, culture and one of the best coffees in the world. This half-day tour is ideal for time-poor travelers or those on a same-day flight, as we offer free transfer to Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) at the end of the tour.
Start the morning with a delicious breakfast at the historic Hacienda Doka, a traditional coffee farm where you will know the entire coffee-making process, from plant to cup. In addition, you can taste freshly prepared coffee, coffee chocolates, coffee liquor and other house specialties.
Then we will continue to Poás Volcano National Park, home to one of the largest active craters in the world. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Central Valley and discover one of Costa Rica’s most iconic volcanoes in a comfortable, complete and perfect experience to make the most of half a day’s travel.

1Doka Estate Costa Rica Coffee Tour and Plantation
Discover the authentic origin of Costa Rican coffee in a unique experience. Our Coffee Tour takes place in a 100% active coffee plantation, where production has continued for more than 125 years, preserving traditional methods and a historic hydraulic and artisanal system, considered cultural heritage. During the tour you will know every stage of the process, from harvesting to roasting and grinding, accompanied by expert guides who will share the history and secrets that have made Costa Rica coffee one of the best in the world. To complete the experience, you can enjoy unlimited tastings of freshly brewed coffee, directly where it is born.

2Poas Volcano National Park
After the Coffee Tour, we will continue to the stunning Poás Volcano National Park, home to one of Costa Rica’s most active volcanoes. Here you can gaze at one of the largest active craters in the world, admire its characteristic turquoise lagoon and observe the traces left by its most recent eruptions. During the visit you will also enjoy spectacular views of the Central Valley and the Central Range. On clear days it is possible to observe other volcanoes in the distance and, hopefully, find birds and other wild animals that inhabit this extraordinary cloud forest ecosystem.
