Experience the thrill of sandboarding in Death Valley on a guided tour from San Pedro de Atacama. Enjoy the views of the Atacama Desert and the volcanoes Licancabur and Láscar.
Learn and practice sandboarding in Death Valley, on dunes up to 200m high. Suitable for both beginners and experienced.

Meeting and pickup
We do not operate from or to accommodations outside the urban radius, in nearby ayllus (Quitor, Yaye, Checar, Sequitor, Solor, Coyo) or in Toconao.
What to expect
At the base of the dunes, we will give you the necessary equipment and you will receive safety and technical instructions. You will start with practices on slopes of approximately 40 m to build confidence. Those who feel safe can try a descent of up to 200 m, a fast drop.
The activity begins with an introductory class, in which the necessary fundamentals for practicing Sandboard are taught, including: How to position yourself and stand on the board; Techniques to slow down; Braking techniques. If you have experience, you can practice from the beginning.
After class, the passenger can enjoy
At the end, you will take a walk back (30 minutes) to the vehicle for the return to San Pedro.
After each descent, you will have to walk up the dune with the board; good physical condition is required.
