Explore Argentine culture through its cuisine in the comfort of a local's home.

Taste mate and alfajores and learn to make empanadas from scratch, including the dough and filling. Roll up your sleeves for a hands-on experience!

We'll allow for some time to get to know each other. You will have a chance to learn about the local culture and way of living, directly from a local.

Sustainability and health are at the heart of what I do, and I care deeply about the details. I carefully source ingredients produced through sustainable, environmentally respectful practices that also protect our health and ensure dignified working conditions for the people behind them. The beef is grass-fed, the eggs come from free-range hens, the vegetables are seasonal, local, and organic, and the flour, oil, cheese, wine, and other staples are organic as well.

What to expect

Discover the secrets of Argentine cuisine in this hands-on cooking class, hosted in my home in a quiet residential neighborhood of Buenos Aires.

You'll be welcomed with alfajores and mate, our traditional infusion, and I'll share the rituals that surround them. Then we’ll start off with the cooking class: I'll teach you how to make empanadas from scratch, both the dough and the filling. While we cook, we'll enjoy a classic picada — an Argentine charcuterie board — to nibble on as we cook . Once the food is ready, we'll sit down together to enjoy the meal we've prepared, paired with a glass of Malbec and good conversation, and finish with a classic Argentine dessert.

I'll guide you every step of the way, sharing the techniques, the history behind each dish, and the regional traditions that shape Argentine cooking.

This is an excellent opportunity to discover how locals live and pick up insider tips on great places to visit and eat in the city. You'll spend a relaxed day in the comfort of a local's cozy home in a beautiful residential neighborhood, inside Buenos Aires' first certified Passive House.

Most ingredients are organic, beef is grass-fed and eggs are pasture-raised.
