Welcome to my backyard! I live in a charming, historic fishing village in the heart of the Dutch countryside, and I would love to show you around on a private tour.
I’ve been guiding visitors since 2014 and have proudly shared the beauty of my home with tens of thousands of guests. On this tour, we will skip the tourist traps so I can show you the best hidden spots, stunning views, and local eateries for delicious food. Along the way, I’ll share wonderful, authentic stories about the locations that brought this region to life.

We pick you up from any specified location. Once your reservation is recieved we will contact you to align de departure time and location as you need. you can depart between 09:00 and 13:00 CET.

The WIndmill village of the Netherlands. The oldes industrial area of europe where the Dutch heritage is shown. We will visit a windmill inside.

2Irene Hoeve Clogs and Cheese Shop
A family owned farm where clogs are made by hand and Gouda cheeses are produced by hand.

3Monnickendam
In our opinion the best fishing village around. an old fishing village and away from the masses. Former stinky town because of many smokehouses.

4Volendam
A beautifull Fishing village next to Monnickendam. Depending on the weather, day the guide will guide to the best choice for that day.

5Broek in Waterland
In the 18th and 19th centuries, Broek in Waterland was considered a major international tourist attraction. Throughout Europe, the village was known as the "cleanest and wealthiest village in Holland." Foreign travelers marveled at the pastel-colored wooden houses, the immaculate gardens, and the residents' extreme obsession with cleaning. We are going to visit it!
