    From 13:00: Depart Sapa town and trek into Matra and Ta Phin village, home to the Red Dao ethnic community. Known for their intricate hand embroidery and centuries-old herbal bath tradition, the Red Dao welcome visitors into a way of life largely untouched by mass tourism. Walk through terraced hillsides and forest paths, meet local artisans at work, and — if time allows — unwind with a traditional Red Dao herbal bath, a remedy passed down through generations.
