This relaxing nighttime tour is limited to a maximum of 6 participants, allowing for a more personal and enjoyable experience under the stars. USCG-approved life jackets and the DRNA Conservation Fee are included. Swimming is not permitted in the Bioluminescent Bay under DRNA Administrative Order 2023-02, established to protect this unique ecosystem.

Cruise through the waters of La Parguera aboard our spacious and stable 26-foot motorized catamaran and discover one of the most remarkable natural wonders in Puerto Rico and the world. Accompanied by a USCG-licensed captain, you'll navigate through the protected waters of the La Parguera Natural Reserve while learning about the science behind bioluminescence and the fragile ecosystem that makes this bay so unique. Observe the natural glow produced by microscopic organisms in the water and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the mangrove surroundings and star-filled night sky. The intensity of the bioluminescence varies naturally based on moon phase, weather, tides, and other environmental conditions, making every visit unique. - Participation Requirements: Most travelers can participate. Children must be at least 5 years old to participate and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. USCG-approved child and youth life jackets are available based on the participant's size and weight. Please arrive 30 minutes before departure for check-in and safety briefing. Late arrivals may be considered a no-show and are non-refundable. Tours operate rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe by the captain. Bioluminescence visibility depends on natural conditions including moon phase, weather, tides, and water activity. Boarding takes place directly from the beach and requires walking through shallow water. Water shoes or sandals are strongly recommended. Participants must be able to safely board and disembark the vessel independently using the boat ladder. This tour is not recommended for travelers with significant mobility limitations or those unable to independently climb and descend a boat ladder.
