The day before the tour, we will let you know the pickup time and meeting point for the start of the tour.
During this tour, you’ll enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery in San Carlos de Bariloche. We’ll set out from downtown, skirting the majestic Lake Nahuel Huapi along E. Bustillo Avenue, covering 60 km that combine mountains, lakes, and native forests in a setting like no other.
The first stop will be at the imposing Cerro Campanario, where you’ll have the option to take a chairlift to the summit (1,050 meters above sea level). From there, you’ll enjoy a 360° panoramic view that National Geographic magazine named one of the eight best views in the world.
Back on the plain, we’ll continue your tour by visiting the picturesque San Eduardo Chapel, an architectural gem surrounded by nature, and then we’ll pass by the iconic Llao Llao Hotel, with its exclusive golf course and nature reserve. With the postcard-perfect view of Puerto Pañuelo in the background, we’ll venture into the forests of the Llao Llao Municipal Reserve, where we’ll take two easy hikes (approx. 1hs) to enjoy direct contact with nature.
Further on, we’ll reach Bahía López, which offers magnificent views of the López and Goye hills. We’ll continue to Punto Panorámico, one of the region’s most iconic viewpoints, ideal for taking in the vastness of the lakes and mountains. Then we’ll stop at the Lake Moreno Viewpoint and Laguna El Trébol, which mark the final stretch of the traditional circuit.
The tour concludes with a visit to the picturesque Colonia Suiza, a small mountain village located 25 km from Bariloche, at the foot of Cerro López. Renowned for its history and unique style, it attracts backpackers, campers, and tourists every summer who come to enjoy its cuisine, craft fairs, and traditional atmosphere. There, we’ll have free time—about 2 hours—to explore, have lunch, or sample local specialties. Finally, we’ll head back along Bustillo Avenue to return to the city center, bringing to a close an excursion that combines history, unforgettable landscapes, and the very essence of Patagonia.
