The Transfăgărășan is a paved mountain road crossing the southern section of the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. According to TopGear it is the "best road in the world". Join us on a full day tour to see the beauty of the spectacular Făgăraș Mountains and learn how the Transfăgărășan Road was built. Enjoy a brief stop at Bâlea Lake and afterwards we head towards Vidraru Dam an imposing 166 meters high dam. On our way back to Sibiu we'll make a quick stop to visit the Clay Castle.

After the many of curves of Transfăgărășan we will finally arrive at Bâlea Lake, a wonderful Glacier Lake located at an altitude of 2034 meters.
After a short sightseeing break at Bâlea Lake we will be making our way to the imposing 166 meters high Vidraru Dam.
