This immersive Convertible-Top-Tour blends iconic American history with breathtaking Black Hills scenery. More than a simple drive, you will explore historic monuments, wind through scenic byways, and spot local wildlife, all while enjoying a delicious picnic lunch at serene Stockade Lake
Mount Rushmore - Your guide leads you through the monument sharing its unique history. There's time to walk the Presidential Trail, and visit the museum, the gift shop and movie.
Next, we drive Iron Mtn Road with unique wooden pigtail bridges and one-way granite tunnels.
At Custer State Park, we visit historic buildings and drive the Wildlife Loop Road with bison, burros, deer. Top opens/closes for your comfort and best viewing.
Needles Highway, we climb high into the granite peaks with stops at Cathedral Spires, Needles Eye Tunnel and Sylvan Lake.
At Crazy Horse: view 14,000 pieces of native American artwork, tour the building, watch a movie about history of the carving and visit the gift shop.

2Iron Mountain Road
Iron Mountain Road is far more than just a drive—it is an unforgettable American journey. Stretching 17 miles through South Dakota's stunning Black Hills, this engineering masterpiece features 314 curves, 14 switchbacks, and 3 spiraling "pigtail" bridges that loop over themselves. It is most famous for its narrow, one-lane stone tunnels that perfectly frame Mount Rushmore National Memorial in the distance. With a maximum speed limit of just 35 mph, this road forces us to slow down, roll open the convertible top, and experience a rare, captivating piece of wilderness.
