Your adventure begins just outside Puerto Limón Cruise Port, where you’ll meet your guide and board comfortable, air-conditioned transportation. Travel along Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast toward the colorful village of Cahuita, passing tropical scenery and local communities along the way. Enjoy free time to explore Cahuita at your own pace. Browse artisan shops, visit the nearby national park, relax by the beach, or soak in the town’s laid-back Caribbean atmosphere while watching for monkeys, sloths, toucans, and other wildlife.

2Puerto Limon
Continue to Prospect Plantation and discover the agricultural heritage behind some of Costa Rica’s most important crops. Learn how bananas, cacao, cassava, tropical fruits, and other local products are cultivated, and how agriculture has shaped the economy and communities of the Caribbean region.

3Playa Bonita
Pause for approximately 30 minutes at Playa Bonita, where you can enjoy the ocean views or purchase a tropical drink, local beer, or Caribbean snack. Before returning to the ship, take a brief sightseeing drive through Puerto Limón and see some of the city’s notable landmarks. Stop at a local souvenir store to browse Costa Rican coffee, crafts, and Caribbean-inspired gifts before returning to Puerto Limón Cruise Port.
