Take your Costa Rica adventure to new heights—75 feet (23 meters) above the rainforest, to be exact.
The experience begins aboard the Aerial Tram, climbing through the canopy as the jungle and waterfall come into view below. At the top, gear up and step onto a High Ropes Circuit designed to test your balance, focus, and nerve from the very first crossing.
Push your limits as you navigate hanging bridges, steady yourself over steel cables and elevated logs, and face the tightrope with nothing but the Costa Rican rainforest surrounding you. Each obstacle presents a different challenge, building toward an exciting final descent down the climbing wall.
You ride up as a passenger. You come down having conquered one of Costa Rica’s most exciting rainforest adventures.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meet at Rainforest Adventures Jacó, located 3.5 km (2.2 miles) east of Maxi Palí in Jacó, Costa Rica. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Transportation is not included; guests must make their own way to the park. Free parking is available.
What to expect
At the upper station, put your balance, focus, and confidence to the test on the High Ropes Circuit, suspended approximately 23 meters above the ground. Navigate two hanging bridges, cross steel cables and elevated logs, and take on the tightrope while the forest and waterfall unfold below.
Finish the aerial challenge at the Descent Wall, using climbing holds to make your way back toward the forest floor. From there, follow a 400-meter mountain trail through the rainforest with your guide.
Before concluding your visit, slow down and explore the Butterfly Garden and Medicinal Plants Garden, bringing you closer to the colorful species and remarkable plant life found within Costa Rica’s tropical ecosystem.

- Duration: The complete experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
- Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Guests wearing sandals or open-toe shoes cannot participate.
- Hair: Long hair must be tied back and securely fastened before participating.
- Hats: Caps and hats are not permitted during the activity.
- Cameras & Phones: Cameras, cell phones, and other handheld devices are not permitted during the High Ropes Circuit for safety reasons.
- What to Bring: Comfortable athletic clothing, sunscreen, insect repellent, and rain protection are recommended
- Late Arrivals & No-Shows: Late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable.
- Rain or Shine: This activity operates rain or shine. Please check the forecast and dress appropriately.
- Onsite Services: A restaurant, cafeteria, lockers, and photography services are available at an additional cost.
- Parking: Free onsite parking is available.
- Health Restrictions: This activity is not permitted for pregnant guests or anyone with back, neck, heart, or vertigo conditions.
- Minimum Height: Participants must be at least 140 cm (4 ft 7 in) tall.
- Physical Requirements: Participants must be in good physical condition and able to complete elevated obstacles, a climbing-wall descent, and a 400-meter mountain trek.
- Special Conditions: Please disclose any medical, physical, or other relevant conditions when booking.
