Back in the kitchen, prepare Mexican favorites from scratch: guacamole in a traditional molcajete, handmade tortillas, sopes, enchiladas, a margarita and arroz con leche, while learning traditional techniques from your chef.
With groups limited to just 10 guests, you'll have time to cook, ask questions and learn, whatever your experience level.
When the cooking is done, sit down together and enjoy the meal you've created. You'll also receive a digital recipe book to recreate your favorite dishes back home.

Cancun & Costa Mujeres Hotels: Roundtrip transportation is included from hotels in the Cancun Hotel Zone, Downtown Cancun and Costa Mujeres when booking a transportation option. Your exact pickup time will be confirmed after booking. Please be ready in your hotel lobby at the confirmed pickup time.
Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen & Riviera Maya: Roundtrip transportation is available for an additional $15 USD per person, payable at pickup. Please provide your hotel information at the time of booking so pickup arrangements can be confirmed.
Without Transportation / No Hotel Information: Guests who select a “Without Transportation” option, or who do not provide their hotel information at the time of booking, must meet directly at La Parrilla, Av. Yaxchilán 51, Downtown Cancun. Please follow the meeting time provided with your booking confirmation.

What to expect
Your culinary adventure begins at a local Cancun market, where you'll explore ingredients used in traditional Mexican cooking. Accompanied by your chef, select fresh ingredients for the dishes you'll prepare later.
Then head to a local restaurant with more than 40 years of history and start cooking. Guided by a professional Mexican chef, learn traditional techniques using classic tools such as the molcajete and comal.
Prepare Mexican favorites from scratch, including guacamole, refried beans, handmade tortillas, sopes and enchiladas, finishing with arroz con leche for dessert. You'll also prepare a margarita, with a non-alcoholic option available.
Then comes the best part: sit down with your classmates and enjoy the meal you created together, accompanied by refreshments.
With groups limited to 10 guests, you'll have plenty of opportunity to cook, ask questions and learn directly from your chef, regardless of your cooking experience.
Afterward, receive a digital recipe book so you can recreate the dishes back home.
