What to expect

Get ready to experience the Flying Dutchman—the world’s steepest zipline, launching from high above St. Maarten on Sentry Hill.

Board the Sky Explorer for the journey up the mountain. Ride two chairlifts spanning 2,997 feet (913 meters) as you climb above the island and watch the landscape open up beneath you.

At the top, take in amazing views across St. Maarten and the surrounding Caribbean before it's time for the experience you came for.

Strap into the Flying Dutchman. Unlike a traditional hanging zipline, you'll be secured into a chair-style harness before launching down the mountainside on an exhilarating 2,800-foot (853-meter) flight, dropping an incredible 1,050 feet (320 meters) in elevation with St. Maarten and the Caribbean unfolding below you.

Back at historic Rockland Estate, visit the Emilio Wilson Museum and discover another side of the island through the history and traditions that shaped St. Maarten.

After your adventure, taxis are readily available from the park for an easy return to the cruise port or your next stop in St. Maarten.

Please allow approximately 1.5–3 hours. Wait times vary with park attendance and may be longer during peak season.
