Board the Sky Explorer for a peaceful ride toward the top of Sentry Hill, watching the island unfold beneath you. Over approximately 25 minutes, the chairlift carries you to 1,125 feet (343 meters) above sea level.
At the top, take your time. Walk around the mountaintop platforms and take in amazing 360° views across St. Maarten and the Caribbean, with plenty of opportunities for photos. On clear days, you may even see Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts and Anguilla on the horizon.
And unlike the Flying Dutchman, there’s no need to race back down. When you're ready, board the Sky Explorer again for a relaxing ride down the mountain, enjoying the scenery from a different perspective.
Back at historic Rockland Estate, visit the Emilio Wilson Museum and discover another side of the island through the history and traditions that shaped St. Maarten.

Please arrive directly at the park, Rockland Estate, 59 L.B. Scott Rd, at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time for check-in. Transportation is not included. Guests are responsible for making their own way to the park. Important: Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for all participants.

Take to the skies aboard the Soualiga Sky Explorer for a peaceful ride up Sentry Hill, watching St. Maarten unfold beneath you. Ride two chairlifts spanning 2,997 feet (913 meters) toward the summit as the Caribbean opens around you. At 1,125 feet (343 meters) above sea level, step onto the mountaintop platforms for 360° views across St. Maarten and the Caribbean. On clear days, look toward Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts and Anguilla. Take your time at the top, enjoy the views and capture your favorite photos before riding the Sky Explorer back down the mountain. Your experience also includes the Emilio Wilson Museum at historic Rockland Estate, where you can discover the stories of Trace Wilson and Emilio Wilson and learn about the estate’s history. After enjoying the park, taxis are available for an easy return to the cruise port or your next stop in St. Maarten. Please allow approximately 3 hours. Wait times may vary with park attendance and can be longer during peak season.
