Located just half a mile from Marina Kay Club, this remarkable section of the reef can be reached within minutes, helping minimize seasickness while giving you approximately two hours to explore the water instead of a rushed snorkeling stop.
Swim above colorful coral formations, encounter tropical fish, and watch for sea turtles moving through their natural habitat. Small groups, attentive guides, and a helpful briefing create a relaxed experience for first-time snorkelers, families, and experienced swimmers alike.

Meeting and pickup
Please provide the full name of your hotel when booking. Your exact pickup time and location will be confirmed afterward. Be ready in the hotel lobby or at the assigned meeting point at least 10 minutes early.
Your driver will wear a white polo with blue or khaki pants and will call your name. Drivers can wait no longer than five minutes.
Pickup is available from Cancun Downtown, the Cancun Hotel Zone, and selected Riviera Maya hotels. Guests staying in Playa del Carmen will be assigned a designated pickup point.
Guests arriving independently must check in at Marina Kay Club in Bahía Petempich at least 30 minutes before the selected tour time. Please allow sufficient travel time, as late arrivals and no-shows are non-refundable. The mandatory USD $20 per-person surcharge is payable at check-in.
What to expect
Your adventure begins at Marina Kay Club in Bahía Petempich, between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. After a short briefing and snorkeling lesson, gear up with your mask, snorkel, fins, and life jacket before boarding the boat.
The reef is just half a mile from the marina, meaning less travel and more time in the water. Spend approximately two hours exploring colorful coral formations, swimming among tropical fish, and watching for sea turtles in their natural habitat. Small groups and attentive guides create a relaxed experience away from the crowds.
The complete tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours, including round-trip transportation, preparation, and briefing. Duration may vary depending on your hotel and pickup route.
Return to the marina for bottled water and a refreshing shower before the comfortable ride back. It’s an exciting and convenient way to discover Puerto Morelos beneath the surface.

- What to Bring: Swimsuit, towel, sunglasses, dry clothes, rash guard, and cash for personal expenses.
- Rain or Shine: This tour operates rain or shine. Please check the forecast and dress accordingly.
- Weather & Sea Conditions: The snorkeling route and operation are subject to sea conditions and instructions from the port authority.
- Port Closure Guarantee: If the port authority closes the port due to adverse weather conditions, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.

- Swimming Ability: No previous snorkeling experience is required, but guests must feel comfortable entering open water and following the guide’s instructions.
