Start your day with an immersion in the legendary caves of Roquefort, nestled in the limestone plateaus of Larzac. AOP classified, Roquefort is much more than a cheese: it is a symbol of Aveyron identity. A real moment of meeting the local culture.
Then focus on one of the masterpieces of contemporary architecture: the Millau Viaduct. 2.5 km long and reaching a height greater than the Eiffel Tower, this bridge elegantly spans the Tarn valley.
Your adventure continues with the discovery of the troglodyte village of Peyre, a gem built on the side of a cliff. The houses lean against the mountain, carved directly into the rock, and the cobbled streets wind towards a semi-troglodyte church.
Finally, heading to La Couvertoirade, Templar village and medieval jewel. Stroll along the ramparts, discover the cobbled alleys lined with artisans' workshops, and the sober but majestic Romanesque church.
