Meet in front of FamilyMart outside East ticket gates of Kintetsu Namba Station. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting time. The tour conductor will be holding a flag and a placard with the local tour operator's logo.
After meeting your tour conductor, you will depart from Kintetsu Osaka Namba Station at 8:00 AM and board the Kintetsu limited express "Hinotori" in a regular seat. This modern train is designed for a comfortable journey, featuring seats with a back shell structure that allows you to recline without affecting the passenger behind you. The ride itself becomes part of the experience, offering a relaxed start as you travel toward Nagoya. Train details will be provided approximately 1 week before departure.
Upon arrival at Kintetsu Nagoya Station, you will head into the city for lunch. You will enjoy hitsumabushi, one of Nagoya’s most famous local dishes, featuring grilled eel served over rice. This traditional meal is known for its rich flavor and unique style of eating. Due to the schedule, lunch will be served from around 11:00, earlier than typical mealtimes.
Next, travel to Korankei Gorge, one of Japan’s most renowned locations for autumn foliage. The valley becomes especially vibrant from mid-November to early December, when the surrounding maple trees turn shades of red, orange, and yellow. Walking through the area, you will find paths and viewpoints where the colorful leaves frame the river and bridges, creating classic seasonal scenery that attracts visitors from across Japan.
Continue to Obara, home to the unique Shikizakura, a rare type of cherry tree that blooms twice a year, in spring and again in autumn. From mid-November to early December, you can see these soft pink blossoms at the same time as autumn leaves, creating a distinctive contrast of colors that is rarely found elsewhere. The combination of delicate cherry blossoms and seasonal foliage offers a memorable and unusual landscape.
After sightseeing, return to Kintetsu Nagoya Station and board a Kintetsu limited express train with reserved seating for your journey back to Osaka. The tour concludes with arrival at Kintetsu Osaka Namba Station between approximately 8:00 and 9:55 PM, with stops at Yamato Yagi, Tsuruhashi, and Osaka Uehommachi along the way.
